Well who knew that sugar, glitter and candy could make such vibrant art? Australian artist Tanya Schultz, the mastermind behind Pip & Pop, employs these tools and other materials including plastic flowers, and other such crafty things – to make her dreamy wonderland installations. Collecting bits and bobs on her travels she meticulously pieces together detailed works that are inspired by “notions of abundance, utopian dreams and fleeting pleasure.” In this particular installation, entitled Through A Hole In The Mountain, Schultz employs everything from paints to masking tape and the results are impressive to say the least! – Julie Rose
